Cancellation Requests

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or phone. Please include your booking reference number and travel details in your cancellation request.

Refund Policy

Refunds are processed based on how early the cancellation is made relative to the travel date. Please refer to the following refund structure:

Processing Time

  • Refunds may take 7-14 working days to process after approval
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method
  • You will receive an email confirmation once the refund is processed
  • For any queries regarding refund status, please contact our support team

Non-Refundable Services

The following services may be non-refundable depending on the service provider's policy:

  • Flight tickets (domestic and international)
  • Hotel bookings (especially during peak season or special events)
  • Train tickets and reserved seating
  • Special permits or entry tickets
  • Adventure sports bookings
  • Cruise bookings

Modification vs. Cancellation

If you need to change your travel dates or package, we offer modification options:

  • Date Changes: Allowed up to 7 days before travel (subject to availability)
  • Package Upgrade: Difference in price will be charged
  • Name Changes: Allowed for a small fee (valid ID required)

Modifications requested less than 7 days before travel may be treated as cancellations.

Cancellation by Shivshakti Tours

In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel a tour due to:

  • Insufficient number of participants
  • Severe weather conditions or natural disasters
  • Government travel advisories or restrictions
  • Operational issues beyond our control

In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule your trip.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect yourself against:

  • Unexpected cancellations
  • Medical emergencies
  • Loss of travel documents
  • Flight delays or cancellations
  • Lost baggage

Travel insurance is not included in our packages and must be purchased separately.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

    Provide your name, phone number, travel date, and booking details.

  3. Wait for Confirmation

    Our team will review your request and confirm within 2-3 business days.

  4. Receive Refund

    Once approved, the refund will be processed within 7-14 working days.
